As you use the CORE library, you will learn to identify the filters that are right for your practice. However, some filters may be essential! Our users appreciate being able to select the relevant health conditions, as well as the language and country from which the app will be downloaded. When the needs to be met by the application are clear to you, use the Clinical Goals and Features filter.
Here’s a tip!
The most powerful filter is the "Clinical objectives" one. It allows you to find apps based on their true functionality (whether is it to support Chronic Care Management through the monitoring of the condition as opposed to using an app as a diagnostic tool). The latter examples are two of the six possibilities. You may use multiple objectives if you want an app that meets multiple objectives at once!
Use more filters to further refine your search results and narrow the number of apps available. For example, select only applications that have been the subject of scientific studies, or those regulated by organizations. For more information on the regulatory process and potential pitfalls, see our section on Health Canada.
