We inform you of significant updates on TherAppX Core:
1) Filter according to the target audience of a tool
Many of you were waiting for this filter, and it is now online:
When it comes to Digital Health Tools, patients will benefit from tools adapted to their reality. Some tools offer specific content to a certain clientele, such as teens or seniors. Core now helps you find them when exploring Digital Health Tools. You may also use this filter when you’re about to share a tool by text (SMS) to one of your patients in a particular age group.

2) More Canadian content & filters
1. Confirm country availability more quickly
You asked us to add the default value "Canada" for the "Countries" filter. This filter helps you confirm that a Digital Health Tool is available in Canada. From now on, you will no longer have to enter the value “Canada” each time you search for tools.
This filter is also available to users on our free plan.
2. Know if the supplier is from Canada
The Canadian digital health ecosystem is more and more active. In certain situations, selecting a Canadian supplier may be desirable as local laws regulate them. We’ve added a small Canadian flag in the tool’s card when you filter the library. It means a Canadian entity is the maker of the tool.
To summarize: you may confirm a tool is available in Canada using the filter, while the flag indicates the supplier is Canadian.
3. Confirm in which country a tool stores the personal information or health data of your patients
Following the most recent "Fireside chat" segment of the Community, we decided to add a filter regarding data hosting countries. We’ll give you more details on the importance of this filter in an upcoming blog post. In short, some patients, or yourself, may prefer tools that host data in Canada to prevent exposing your patient’s data to regulations from other countries. Our app analysts add hosting countries when the maker discloses them in its privacy policy. Therefore, you’ll save time finding this precious information.
If you still haven't discovered all of our other filters, give it a go, feel free to ask your questions at support@therappx.com, or learn about essential filters in this Help Center post.

3) Essentials criteria visuals
We've added visual cues to help you focus on the best tools when filtering the Core library. You may see them in each tool card. The three Essential criteria are:
1- Absence of bugs
2- User-friendly/simple navigation
3- Privacy policy in place
Regarding the absence of bugs: a yellow indicator means our app analyst detected bugs that impacted usability but did not prevent the tool’s use. A red circle indicates the tool was not usable when our app analyst completed the assessment.
